Cure for Breast Cancer

Susan G. Komen for the Cure is a movement to end breast cancer forever. Now it's the global leader of the breast cancer movement and have invested more than $1.9 billion since the creation. With the breast cancer survivors and activists, Susan G. Komen for the Cure is working together to save lives who are suffering right now. They are the nonprofit funds dedicated to fight and find cure for the breast cancer.

Florida Gulf Coast University has many different types of clubs. The one that would be most appropriate for this breast cancer funds would be 'Colleges Against Cancer Club". They wish to find students who are willing to make a difference in the lives of people who has and had cancer. I thought about what I could do to make a difference in their lives. First thing came up in my mind, Susan G. Komen for the Cure opens up a marathon to spread more news about this organization, even though I am not a good runner, I could try and run this marathon with my friends. I got another idea from when I saw people handing out pink rubber bracelets to support fight against the breast cancer. I could volunteer to hand those out and gather more supporters.

One reason why I picked the breast cancer is that my grandmother had breast cancer but unfortunately she has passed away last year in August.
